This project was inspired by my own children and observing the marks that they leave behind, whether that be during or after play.

I have two children, Maisie and Jack and upon observing and capturing their play time together in a candid way, I began to think about their perspective on life and how they view their time together. 

By incorporating Maisie and Jacks own images they had taken on their own cameras, I created a book which not only tells a story from an adults perspective but the child's also.

The book is hand made by myself and incorporates not only images but quotes from both children, and a protective cover that Maisie and Jack both helped create.

As an adult its easy to forget the care free nature of life as a child.
