1 in 2 is an artist book developed from my photographic project 1 in 2: Science in the Everyday, documenting my mother Christine's experience of living with stage 4 bowel cancer.

The book brings together photographs from the project in a physical sequence, allowing the work to be experienced as a complete publication rather than as individual images.

This publication is dedicated to my mum, Christine.
